Online Marketing Executive

They are currently looking for a new Online Marketing Executive to enhance and compliment their existing team.

Working as part of the Central Online Marketing Team the successful applicant will plan and co-ordinate Pan-European digital marketing campaigns to support the companies’ territories and portfolio of triple A titles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of online display adverts from briefing to scheduling, asset collation and trafficking through to analytics
  • Co-ordinate the production of digital buzz and traffic driving assets: virals, mini games, widgets selling in concepts and maximising their value through the companies territories
  • In conjunction with the Community Team and Web Editor develop email-marketing initiatives to support title-marketing campaigns. Also collate online media and viral results for analysis/report production
  • Drive database recruitment by securing exclusive sign up incentives from studios and the companies Product Development department
  • Brief and manage pan-European video and viral asset seeding campaigns. Liaise with the companies territories to secure buy-in and support budget; ensure paid activity is integrated with natural seeding plans
  • Assist on the development of the companies social media strategy working with the Community Team to ensure initiatives are supported through paid media activity and also assist the Retail Marketing Managers with 3rd party opportunities
  • Paid search ad copy production, keyword research and campaign optimisation
  • Agency and community team co-ordination
The successful applicant will possess:
  • Understanding of the online creative production and delivery process
  • Experience of working with ad servers – Flash Talking, Eye Blaster etc
  • Basic knowledge and experience of web 2.0 / social media
  • Campaign co-ordination / management experience
  • Basic understanding of SEO and PPC
  • Ability to deliver against multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Technically minded, online savvy
  • Proven relationship building skills and agency management
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • High degree of initiative
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • IT literate, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Basic understanding of Photoshop or similar design package
  • Traditional marketing/business qualifications and experience advantageous
  • Pan-European / entertainment industry experience desirable but not essential
  • A genuine interest in video games
