Our Client is a rapidly expanding video games publisher and developer within the western market, and is the European arm of a world leader in the provision of interactive entertainment both inside and outside the home.
Our client develops, publishes and distributes interactive entertainment software products for a variety of hardware platforms such as Xbox 360, PlayStation platforms, Nintendo platforms, PC and wireless devices.
Position Overview:
This role is necessary to ensure that the coordination and testing cycle of our clients product is maintained to the high standard required with the overall aim of achieving quality, bug-free code release to the respective console manufacturer for compliancy to platform holder checks. This position also provides a resource of experience for the benefit of all QA members, particularly for the Standards team coordinator and the respective Standards testers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Current and extensive knowledge of requirement standards for all platforms as tested within the QA department
- Experienced games player, including the ability to familiarise with game-play elements rapidly
- An ability to recognise and analyse the inadequacies of an implemented system in a product
- Technical understanding of game elements
