A Senior Engine Programmer is required to have a key role in the implementation of the current 3D engine, it’s pipelines and to provide direction and support to the rest of the 3D engine team.

Skills and Experience Required:-
o In depth DirectX knowledge.
o Extensive knowledge of Vertex and Pixel shaders.
o Post processing.
o Multithreaded architectures.
o Skinning Static/dynamic lighting models.
o Excellent C++ programming knowledge on mainstream games.
o Significant development experience on consoles.
o Focused, results orientated, self-motivated, with excellent debugging skills.
o Be willing to work on all areas of 3D game engine development.
o Minimum 1 published next gen title.
o Capable of producing clear and concise documentation.
o Be a strong team player with the ability to interface with other team members.
o Able to meet tight deadlines.
o Ability to assist in mentoring and coaching a team of 3-6 people.
o Experience in identifying bottlenecks and optimising existing/future rendering code.
o Self-motivated, able to work with minimal direct supervision.

Skills and Experience Preferred:-
o Xbox 360 / Xbox or PC development experience
o Full responsibility of a 3D engine used within a shipped project.
o Have experience in or knowledge of next generation graphic techniques and a general enthusiasm and interest in them.
o Your abilities to lead a team are also of interest but this is primarily a senior technology role so this is not vital, though mentoring and coaching of more junior staff will be expected.
