This is the Brighton arm of one of the largest independent games developers in Europe. They specialise in social games for non-traditional gamers. They are currently working on projects with a number of AAA publishers and are focused on creating innovative titles with a wide appeal.

The role requires the successful applicant to work in a small team of programmers under the guidance of the R&D Director developing technology for multiple games across multiple platforms. The team work using agile methods.

The main duties of the role:
- Evaluation of existing tech and middleware
- Overall architecture design
- Systems requirements capture, analysis, design, implementation and testing
- Programming mainly using C++
- Creation of documentation
- Maintenance of existing systems

Essential Skills
- C++ programming experience
- Experience using Visual Studio .net or similar
- Experience using version control software Perforce or similar
- Experience programming at least one of these consoles : PS2/X360/PS3/Wii
- Passion for computer games
- Good teamwork skills
- Strong verbal communicator.
