Associate Producer for PC Flight Sim

Our client is an independent multi-platform video game developer based in Northern Ireland, established at the start of 2007. Our client has a highly experienced management team whose previous experience ranges from launching start-up companies, to running multinational corporations. Currently working on a next gen action flight sim for the PC a fantastic oppertunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Producer to join their team.

Responsibilities Assist in all phases of internal product development, including management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, programming, technology, design, art, audio, localization scheduling and management, QA management, and final submission. Build and track development schedules. Coordinate internal and external resources and dependencies. Promote communication within the production team and with other departments and companies. Organize and maintain all documentation pertaining to game development. Manage production testing, internal approvals, licensor approvals, localization, archiving, and other aspects of game production. Assist with tracking and organizing assets. Assist in maintaining and enhance necessary processes for product development. Participate and take notes for meetings with the project team to discuss status, resolve issues & share information. Help facilitate QA management and direction for responsible projects. Requirements Shipped at least 1 title in a Production role. Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management & scheduling skills. Strong capability to multitask and prioritize. Must be passionate about games development. Organized self-starter willing to assume responsibility. Good comprehension of all aspects of game production. Familiarity with MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel & asset/configuration management software. Desirable Min. of 2 years games dev or production experience on at least 2 main SKUs, or equivalent responsibility working with software developers, artists or A/V production. Knowledge of general gaming culture. Experience one of the following game development disciplines: 3D Art, Design, Programming, QA or localization. Experience managing external suppliers. Knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems and standard APIs for which platform developers are producing.
