JOB DESCRIPTION
•Delivery of the project on time and within budget.
•Developing a project schedule for the appropriate developing partners i.e. Publisher.
•Responsibility for planning, assigning and directing work to team members.
•Prioritizing modeling, texturing and other art tasks according to the overall schedule with the Lead Artist.
•Monitoring code development in accordance with the game design and other relevant documentation/policy with the Lead Programmer.
•Monitoring design content (theory and application) with the Lead Designer and makes sure that there is a visibility between publisher, licensor, design and project needs.
•Works with the QA Manager and Lead Tester to make sure appropriate test plans, TRC checks, gameplay tuning and other QA processes are completed as necessary.
•Continually assess and report to the Director of Development on team members' competency and personal and professional conduct.
•Appraising, rewarding, motivating and disciplining team members.
•Addressing complaints and resolving problems of team members.
•Maintaining and enhancing publisher relationships at Producer level. The Producer is the primary point for all external contact.
•Preparing and signing off on all Milestones, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the appropriate contractual requirements.
•Managing the submission process
•Helps to create, promote and maintain a clear system of communication within the team.
•Works with the Director of Development and Team Leads to make sure that the best development methodologies are put in place for the project, studio etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Thorough understanding of all game development areas
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Excellent leadership skills who leads by example.
•Highly proficient in MS Project and MS Office applications.
•Proficient in bug tracking software and systems eg. Test Track Pro, Bugzilla, Mantis etc.
•Strong negotiating skills and collaborative conflict resolution skills.
•Experienced in managing and correcting performance issues.
•Ability to identify project risks and apply appropriate risk management strategies.
•Working knowledge of software development management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and Iterative Development)
