International Market Analysis Manager

My client is among the fastest growing video game publishers in the world, developing products for all viable current and next-gen game and high performance personal computers as well as wireless devices. They currently have more than 70 products in development across the action, racing, puzzle, wrestling, kids, action-adventure and platform game genres.

The successful candidate will be playing a key role in the company’s business analysis and will be strongly involved in short and long term financial planning. Responsibilities will include: Evaluating market tendencies and interpreting market development Anlaysing historical market data Forecasting market growth, sales performance and industry development Managing relationships with external analysts and industry representatives to be on top of latest market tendencies Communicate with international territories on respective market metrics and communicate results to US headquarter Propose amendments and improvements of the company’s market metrics analysis with additional quantitative and qualitative information Liaise with internal market research departments to gather market insights, reports and analytics Evaluate gaps in the markets, validate these with findings, discuss concrete products with internal sources and translate it to the company’s P&L Execute different levels of market potential analysis to prepare the decision making process for localization of products Candidate’s Profile: The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills combined with commercial awareness. You will be expected to have a financial or planning background as well as the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive business improvement. The successful candidate will also need to possess previously planning, budgeting & forecasting experience. Prior experience in a video game company would be a strong advantage.
