Digital Product Marketing Manager

My client is among the fastest growing video game publishers in the world, developing products for all viable current and next-gen game and high performance personal computers as well as wireless devices. They currently have more than 70 products in development across the action, racing, puzzle, wrestling, kids, action-adventure and platform game genres.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Digital Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving integrated online marketing plans across Europe to support an enviable portfolio of AAA titles. This role would suit a self motivated individual with extensive experience of the digital marketing landscape, whether gained in a similar position within the gaming industry or at agency level. Key Responsibilities: •Plan and deliver integrated pan-European Digital Marketing Campaigns •Drive European Online Media and Creative planning •Working with the Global Online group, help shape the product website strategy •Where necessary, work with creative agencies to put regional web initiatives in place •Work with 1st parties and licensors •Input into the Global social media strategy •Work with the Global Online group and studio community managers to ensure that community/grassroots activity and assets are effectively leveraged across Europe •Develop email marketing initiatives to support the wider campaign on a product by product basis •With the European Webmaster and PR group, ensure that all products are fully supported with content and assets on the company’s European web portal •With Head of Digital, drive additional revenues with per-product direct digital sales strategies •Manage the digital marketing budget across a portfolio of titles •Be the digital expert and evangelist within the department, continuously building upon and sharing knowledge and expertise with the team Likely Profile: •Graduate calibre with solid experience of and expertise in all aspects of digital / online marketing, with an excellent knowledge of the latest developments in this space •Proven track record in delivering effective digital marketing campaigns utilizing a mix of media and mechanics •Highly IT literate, and proficient in using Microsoft software tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; •Must be fluent in spoken and written English, but a second European language would be an advantage •Experience of having worked for a US parent company would be an asset Candidates who are offered an interview will be expected to present examples of previous work and an original digital marketing plan for a title TBC Please contact Sharon Hibble on 01206 544044 or email officemanager@opmjobs.com for more information.
