My client is among the fastest growing video game publishers in the world, developing products for all viable current and next-gen game and high performance personal computers as well as wireless devices. They currently have more than 70 products in development across the action, racing, puzzle, wrestling, kids, action-adventure and platform game genres.

Working closely with the European Marketing Director and the Product Marketing team based in the U.S, the Group Marketing Manager is responsible for European marketing activities across a group of ‘core’ titles. Involved in all properties within your group, you will are an expert in this market sector. Commercially focused and customer minded, the Group Marketing Manager will drive their team and work closely with each local territory to maximise sales and revenue opportunities on key brands. Key Responsibilities: •Directly managing a team of European Product Managers. Overseeing day to day workload as well as setting and reviewing detailed objectives on a quarterly and annual basis. •Ensuring timely creation and delivery of the central European marketing plan •Key responsibility is researching, defining and driving marketing objectives, strategy and activity to deliver successful product launches and drive the European business in-line with corporate objectives for titles within the core group. •The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate level of research, benchmarking, rationale and planning is invested at both central and local level. •Continuously communicating with the Product Marketing team based in the U.S. •Work intrinsically with the European PR team to make sure that PR and marketing strategy is integrated and complimentary. •Management of the central European marketing budget for the group of titles. •As required, work closely with the Asia Pacific Marketing and PR teams to fully understand their requirements and assist them in meeting their business goals. Key Competencies: A proven marketer with an enviable track record of marketing success! Ideally with pan-regional experience, gained in the video games or similar market. Strategic Marketing ability Strong management skills Proven relationship-building Passionate and knowledgeable of the video-games market, together with the ambition and drive to succeed is vital. A comprehensive understanding of and ideally hands on experience of PR. Good financial and analytical skills are required. Experience of building and delivering upon forecasts as well as planning and managing budgets are all important. Flexibility to travel regularly and extensively across the European territories and to the US, and potentially to Asia Pacific. Additional languages would be an advantage but not essential.
