Accounts Payable Manager

My client is among the fastest growing video game publishers in the world, developing products for all viable current and next-gen game and high performance personal computers as well as wireless devices. They currently have more than 70 products in development across the action, racing, puzzle, wrestling, kids, action-adventure and platform game genres.

Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Financial Controller Ensure that all procedures are followed and documented Control of the outstanding purchases orders, ensuring that they are correct and relevant Manage and develop the AP Department including training and mentoring staff. Management of the Accounts Payable function for 6 different entities, 3 foreign and 3 UK based. Management on upkeep of 5 Accounts payable ledgers in 5 different multiple currency ledgers. Manage the input of invoices Manage the processing of all employees expenses including Company Credit cards. Manage the process of posting AP transactions on a daily basis Manage the process of running Automated Payment runs for all ledgers Work with Financial Accounting Team for Month and Year End reporting Manage the process of Administering Advances of Foreign Currency Invoice verification Key Competencies: Must have Accounts Payable Manager experience, ideally gained within a large accounts department with high volume processing Superb organisational skills Knowledge of Inter-Company transactions essential Knowledge of VAT (both domestic and a working knowledge of international VAT) essential in order to be able to audit expense claims within Inland Revenue guidelines Intermediate Excel essential SAP (or similar ERP accounting package) critical Experience of multi ledgers and multi-currency within Accounts Payable essential Good attention to detail is critical Good organisational, planning and time management skills are essential as work is high volume and ad hoc requests are often urgent Good communication skills are critical. Must be professional and able to communicate at all levels within the organization.
