My client is among the fastest growing video game publishers in the world, developing products for all viable current and next-gen game and high performance personal computers as well as wireless devices. They currently have more than 70 products in development across the action, racing, puzzle, wrestling, kids, action-adventure and platform game genres.

The Role: The role is a new and exciting addition to the European IT Department Primary Responsibilities: Work with internal company business areas, internal customer service, and external trading partners (customers and warehouses) to develop, implement, and maintain automated solutions. Interface with development team, and support the production environment proactively through tracking management activities Write project related documentation such as technical program design, user manual, etc. Prepare and execute unit and integration testing in support of projects and identify and document and deviations or errors. Resolve IDoc and application interface failures, analyzing functional gaps in EDI architecture and developing functional specs to resolve gaps Monitor and trouble shoot EDI transactions from/to SAP R/3 and GIS on a day-to-day basis Map development and modifications for new/existing trading partners Provide customer-facing support Monitor background jobs and processes in GIS and SAP R/3 Maintain partner profiles, ports, and other master data related to EDI in SAP and GIS Maintain master data related to order management in SAP R/3 Troubleshoot issues – may require off-hours support Essential Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical skills EDI translator experience a must- experience in mapping and maintaining Gentran Integration Suite (GIS) software Knowledge of EDIFACT EDI standards Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of AS2 a plus Knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI standards a plus Experience in Sales Order Processing and billing a plus Experience in use of SAP R/3 SD/MM modules a plus Experience in SAP R/3 IDOC processing and error handling a plus Excellent Benefits Package Please call Sharon Hibble on 01206 544044 or email officemanager@opmjobs.com
