International Product Planner

My client is among the fastest growing video game publishers in the world, developing products for all viable current and next-gen game and high performance personal computers as well as wireless devices. They currently have more than 70 products in development across the action, racing, puzzle, wrestling, kids, action-adventure and platform game genres.

Key Responsibilities: Working within the International Operations and Finance teams, the successful candidate for this role will be responsible for ensuring that the PSM (our Operations Scheduling Tool) is complete and updated by all key stakeholders, as well as providing administrative support to the International Product Coordination Manager. This role is pivotal in helping teams to align in areas delivering the Critical Path for our International Teams across Publishing. Key responsibilities include: •Updating International Dates in the PSM to ensure the system is kept live. •Preparing schedules for Teams in both Publishing and Studios •Responding to changes in schedules, requiring Ops/Studio Teams to be re-aligned •Proactively negotiating schedules •Administering the International SKU plan •Produce weekly reports from the PSM •Run weekly reports to ensure teams delivering Age Ratings are working to support delivery of ratings inline with code submissions and supporting the application process. •Ensuring the International Release Schedule is updated by all areas and is ready for distribution, weekly without fail. •Support the IPCM in his role •Be a key agent for Change, supporting the Operations Teams as we position ourselves for future growth and delivery. Key Competencies: Graduate calibre with solid experience of delivering to tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously with a proven track record in problem solving and flexible planning is required Ability to handle large workloads and deliver accurately on time with the highest attention to detail is essential Excellent Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel skills essential with some experience in Microsoft Project or Workbench desirable Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills are critical in this role Must work well within a team but have the ability to think on their feet and work under their own initiative A keen interest in entertainment software or new media technology is desirable Flexibility to work the hours necessary to achieve results when required Some International Travel may be required Fluency in spoken and written English is essential with a second European language preferred.
