In-House English-German Translator

Our client is a modern company located in Berlin specializing in the localization of computer and video games. Some of the world's leading companies in entertainment software are partnered with and rely on our client. For our growing team we are currently searching for an In house German Translator.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform any necessary activities: spot, proof, transcribe, translate (in-game text, dialogue, user manuals, etc.) or perform any other tasks that are required for products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent writing and proofreading skills in German

• Able to follow our metrics of 3.000 words of translation per day for a high quality of work

• Computer literate

• Must be an avid gamer with online and/or offline games

• Must be a detail-oriented and flexible team player who is self-motivated, responsible, hard-working, innovative, dedicated and deadline-oriented

• Must be used with all consoles/PC TCR terminology

• Understanding of the gaming industry

• Must have a strong comprehension of the English language and must be well versed in American
