They are looking for an experienced Audio programmer to take a leadership and management role to create an incredible audio experience for a wide range of platforms. As lead Audio programmer you will be responsible for implementing leading edge audio systems in addition to over-seeing a small team of audio programmers, all working to push the boundaries of real-time audio in video-games.

Your responsibilities will include working with your team and other departments to design new audio systems. As well as doing audio programming yourself, you will help your team to design & review their code, work with other programming departments to ensure smooth integration of audio systems. You’ll also work with your team to create and maintain schedules.

The right candidate will need several years of experience in an audio programming role, and understand low-level coding and optimization techniques in order to execute advanced DSP audio processing with minimal processing overhead.

Key Requirements:
- At least 5 years programming experience.
- Mastery of core C++ language features.
- Excellent understanding of DSP algorithms & FFT analysis.
- Excellent understanding of audio processing algorithms, and audio compression schemes.
- Experience with audio APIs (e.g. FMod, Miles, WWise, XAudio, VST plugins, or other)
- Strong API design, implementation & documentation skills.
- Familiar with contemporary software engineering practices, such as version control, scripting languages, build processes, automation.
- Familiar with a variety of contemporary audio & music software.
